This project is an EU project (EU FP7) and together with European partners, an European innovation agenda on energy efficiency in agriculture and horticulture was designed. Specifically for the Dutch sectors of horticulture, livestock and arable farming, the energy consumption in the major crops/animal types was determined. Based on this, energy saving measures have been determined and calculated. In addition, specifically for the Netherlands a stakeholder analysis and an innovation agenda was compiled.
